What operating system are you using? Win98, ME, XP?

If this is windows, have you restarted the computer and still get the error everytime?

I have never used IncrediMail, but I suspect your problem comes from spyware. Download AdAware from here and run it. I will say this: Since I have never used IncrediMail, I DO NOT KNOW if running AdAware will screw it up or not. Incredimail (from what I know) is loaded with spyware natively, and running AdAware may render it completely useless.

I would also add that IncrediMail is generally not a good e-mail client. It's cute, to be sure, but all that stationary and images that makes it cute just makes the e-mail messages unnecessarily large, chewing up internet bandwidth, and generally not doing anything positive. When it comes to e-mail, just stick with the basics. I do understand that appeal of IncrediMail, but it is not even remotely utilitarian. Not to mention the fact that most people don't even get the stationary effects you send unless their e-mail clients can handle the html code in the message! Most programs do have html enabled for private addresses, but people who are on work or corporate e-mails will almost always have that shut off for the sole purpose of NOT allowing that extra html code to take up space.

My $.02...

Chris

p.s. this problem, among others, started when i installed the following files to go with bible pro software.
Microsoft Universal Data Access 'MDAC'

Unfortunately, I don't know IncrediMail very well. I have seen it in action a time or two, but know little else. I have asked some MS friends of mine what they think, but they don't know why MDAC would screw it up in any way. I'll continue researching it for you, friend.

I also know nothing of this Bible Pro. I saw it once when I was restoring a PC at a church that called me up for some help, but I know nothing of that program, either. Very sorry.

I would like to reiterate something, though... I very much suggest not using IncrediMail at all. I have seen some people use it for home businesses and the like (creativity businesses where the stationary and smilies are neat), but other than that, there is no real use for it. As I said, IncrediMail has a tendency to turn a regular e-mail that would normally be 8K into 200K for no real reason!

IF you're main reason for using IncrediMail is smilies and animations, there are better alternatives, I believe, and could make some suggestions. IF your reason is the stationary, well, IncrediMail is probably your best choice.

Just consider it, friend.

As tae said, you might try to reinstall it. If you think that might wipe out your settings, try to back up the files that hold those settings. Other than that, I will continue to ask around and will let you know if I here anything. Good luck!
