Question MP3 Encoding Programs

Can anyone recommend a good program that will convert my music CD's to MP3 encoded format? I am not sure where to look for such a program, and hopefully it will be something that can be downloaded for free. The MP3 player I have did not provide any program that helps in this conversion.

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't Winamp do this, guys? Not sure, never tried it, but I think Winamp will convert WAV files and CDA files to mp3's...

I use Acoustica mp3 to WAV Converter Plus. You can download it to try, then I tihnk it's only $20 to buy it. If Winamp does it, that would be cool because Winamp is free. What I like about the Acoustica software is that it's FAST, very fast. Worth the money...

It converts between everything, CDA, mp3, WAV, back and forth, front to back. It'll even convert entire playlists. Very cool program!

Chris
