firefox

I have recently started using firefox
I just did a search with google found the
download link..and downloaded It so far
It Is really good. One thing I've noticed Is ad-aware
doesn't find any tracking cookies with firefox as It
did with the explorer all the time !which Is good
Firefox Is working great with the photos also..I know when I save pics back to file from my photohost I always give the file a new name,I think I
works best that way[to create a new name for the file pic]
Looks like your new website allows one to delete there own thread If they
want.My question Is Is there a time limit on deletions?

As I recall, in vBulletin (which is the bulletin board software being used here at DIY), the DEFAULT time to delete one's own thread is unlimited. The admins have the power to change that to whatever they want.

Most admins don't bother, however. After all, it's your thread, you can do whatever you want with it. I have no idea what the admins did here, but I have to ask you this, las:

Why would you ever want to delete your own thread anyway? Always better to keep it there for all the world to see. After all, if you have a question there are actually TWO points to it all.

1. You'll learn something.
2. Someone else can search for keywords, possibly find an old thread and learn from that without ever even having to post!

It's all about learning in forums like this one. We're all here to help each other and build a community. That's what internet BB's are all about.

Well, that capability (editing your own posts) has been built into vBulletin for as long as I can remember.
