Cool cd-rw question

i have a cd-rw question about my computer. i know that i can burn cd's and play them but i was wondering if it can play dvd's. when i go to system properites and look at it under hardware it says Samsung CD-r/rw SW-248F. i know that this is a stupid question because if i look at its properties another way, it says that it is samsung CD-R/RW/DVD. help please? on windows media player there are dvd decoders and everthing else like that availiable if i need one of those things to play dvds. any help would be appreciated! thanks!

It seems to be a CD-RW only.
Take a look at the manual here.

You can purchase a DVD drive and install it in your PC provided you have the open 5.25 bay and an IDE location available, their pretty cheap, you can even get a DVD burner for around $65.00 from Newegg.com.
