Lost bookmark

I have just lost one of my bookmarks...a very important one! I am using a Dell 4600, 2.66 GHz processor, 512 Mb ram, 800 GB hard drive, access the internet with Oprea 7.0, have a cable internet connection. Could someone please help? Worked fine last night but this morning wasn't there.

How about searching through internet history to see if you can find the last time you were there?

I've found my trouble...somehow I got it placed inside another folder. Could you explain how to move it back outside on its own...in other words how do you edit bookmarks?

If you are using Outlook Express open the folder, highlight the link you want to move and then left click and hold.
Then while holding, move the link across and into the main column and then release the left button.

The U.S. government's Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) made headlines in June when they issued a statement urging computer users to switch from Internet Explorer to "any other browser." Let's put aside the irony of the government condemning someone else's security level (Let's see - how many storage devices containing sensitive data were discovered missing from the Los Alamos nuclear research lab last week? [url]http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/07/16/los_alamos_flap/[/url]. The plain fact is that IE is not the only Web browser that's subject to vulnerabilities. Last week security forums reported a hole in the Mozilla browser that makes it possible for attackers to launch unauthorized applications or crash computers ([url]http://secunia.com/advisories/12027/[/url]. If you're using Mozilla, we recommend that you visit Mozilla.org to download a patch for this. A flaw in the Opera Web browser was also discovered, which can fool users into believing they're on a trusted Web site when they aren't ([url]http://secunia.com/advisories/12028/[/url]. There are, indisputably, far more exploits discovered for IE than for alternate browsers. But then, according to data reported last week in InfoWorld [url]http://www.infoworld.com/article/04/07/12/HNielosesshare_1.html[/url], IE has had over 95% of the browser market share since 2002. Following the string of reported exploits and CERT's public condemnation, IE's market share dropped about 1 percentage point last month. That still left IE with a 94.74 percent market share on July 6. It's only logical that hackers and virus writers focus on IE, just as they focus on the Windows operating systems, because it gives them the largest target for their malicious wares. But if computer users take CERT's recommendations to heart and switch to another browser, it's likely that attackers will also switch targets and start digging out exploits for those browsers. Hi, Everybody, This is my first post in this forum. 1. In MS Outlook 98 or 2000 I know that you can setup under Option to automatically put the e-mail address of the person that you reply to in the Contact Folder. Is there an automatic way to put the person that I send e-mail to my Contact Folder? I mean I don't want to go through the process of setting up in the Contact Folder, or Address Book, plus that person never reply my e-mail so I don't have a chance to reply his/her e-mail. 2. Also in MS Outlook, there is a Junk e-mail and an Adult setting that I can put all incoming mail from a list to either the Junk mail folder or Delete folder to be deleted later on. Is there a way to block the mails, so that they don't even come to my computer, i.e. they just stop at the server level and got dumped, or rejected, just like Hotmail. Thanks a lot.Read More
