backing up computer files on a dvd
Hi 
is there any way to back up my files (ie. pictures, word docs, excel etc) on a DVD since it has so much more space than a CD ??

Absolutely - with a DVD burner. I use Roxio's Easy CD & DVD Creator for those types of projects. Very easy to do.
Compress the files with WinZip first if you really want to save space.
