XP lite is already available for download from litepc.com, has been for some time now.

XP Lite and Starter edition are 2 entirely different things, I do suspect you mean starter edition, if not please clarify.

Problem with my handycam,urgent help needed?

I own a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV60. It has 2 MP still photo capability. Everything works fine except one very crucial thing and this is really very important. When i rip the videos that i record from my Mini DV camera onto the Hard disk with the software provided, THERE IS NO SOUND. I tried ripping videos onto 2 different computers, just to confirm and have the same problem on both of them. So basically now i cannot reuse the Mini DV tapes and i have to keep buying new ones, because i cannot store a copy on the pc and hence reuse the same one. Help would be dearly appreciated. I just bought a new Compaq Presario sr1023wm with win xp home, installed.My old puter has win 98 that would not boot up.I am wanting to get files from the old one to the new one.Is there an easy way to do this?If I have to hook the old drive to the ide cable as a slave will my warranty be void from opening the case?And can I transfer from 98 to xp?I know just enough stuff to get me into trouble sometimes.Any suggestions?
