Question windows xp

Im trying to upgrade from Windows 98 SE to Windows XP Proffesional. When I did a sytem check it said I might have a potential problem with my Rockwell HCF 56k Data Fax Modem, and my Riptide pci Audio. It said I may need additional files for these devices to use with Windows XP. Any one know if I can use my Modem and pci audio with Windows XP. I noticed it said there "might" be a "potential" problem. Also, if I do need additional files, where do I get them. Im not having much luck on the windows update site. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. pal67

Go to the manufacturer's website for the individual item and check to see if there are drivers available for the device for it to operate under Windows XP. If not, you will need to be prepared to replace the device. Some out of date equipment and programs will not run under XP because they are no longer supported.
