Question Help with printer

My HP Deskjet 3820 ink jet printer has quit working. When you turn it on, it goes through its gyrations, then stops. It almost acts like it thinks it has a paper jam, but there is none. At this point, the POWER and FEED lights are blinking, and the printer is unresponsive.
Nowhere in the manual or on the website is there an explanation for this code. I have tried unplugging it, disconnecting it from the computer, manually cleaned the heads, etc. I also gave it a very thorough cleaning, but that didn't help. We tried calling their tech support, but they wanted $40 just to talk to us.
Can anyone please help
Thanks!

I think you have a paperweight now. Generally speaking, whan an HP printer does this it's time for a new printer.
