Hi, I often use notepad to open my .txt files. But, I noticed recently that when I go to the start menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> and then to the notepad icon. Nothing happens. I don't receive any error messages. When I try to open a attachment that is a .txt it says it can't find the notepad application. I'm not sure when this happened. I've checked for viruses, spyware, or anything I can think of that may of affected this. I haven't found anything. I'm running XP on my PC. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Shawn

I am actually sending this message for a friend of mine so I hope i can explain it correctly..Whenever he begins his internet and is using MSN as the homepage for some reason when he tries to use his favoriets it goes thru the motions of loading the web page and it then says DONE no page appears. However if he goes into his properties for the homepage and again makes the MSN his default and hits apply and then gets out of the internet and goes back in his favorites work fine then..it almost seems like he is not connected to the internet the first time thru until he goes and manually sets the MSN as the homepage everytime..
