Lightbulb AMD Processors

Hi,

AMD has a lot of different processors and I saw a sale on a 2.2 GHz XP processor and I wanted to know if anyone has experience with this processor and if it would be recommended to purchase.

Thanks,

AMD always has, does now, and probably always will make first class chips. They are of high quality and are an excellent value overall.

I agree with worldbuilder...

I would just like to add that, besides the expensive AMD 64 bit technology, there best cpu's are the Athalon XP line. Don't ever buy a Duron CPU. Please state what kind of motherboard you intend to install this CPU on? Your board may allow you to overclock, which will allow you to gain even more from that new CPU.

Absolutely! AMD's are great. They run a little hotter than other CPU's, but as long as you have the proper ventilation, no problem.

Highly recommended.

Good luck!
