Hey, Term...Success is always cool...tell me more about MP 10.0....I downloaded 6.4 on the advice that it was somewhat un-bloated, yet functional...But, gadzooks, it's ancient...

All this started because I want a simple but functional multi-media player...nothing fancy, just something that I can use as a default player for ALL file types....Quicktime usually does the trick, but not always...Friends e-mail me short clips of various short movies, but invariably I can't view them all for one reason or another...Of course, I'm at a snail's pace w/dial-up, but I can be patient when I need to be...

Again, thanks to you guys for sticking with me 'til we got this figured out....

Matt

Media Player 9 and 10 are both very fancy, but will play all file types too. If you like streaming video, you will find that many sites do not support 6.1

I have an older computer..

still running 98SE, and I like Media Player 7.1. Then go to download the Media Player 9.X codec package....still works with 7.1. This has worked very well for me.
