Angry Problems with NetZero

Hello, I have been reading these forums for awhile and have fornd answers to many of my problems. This is my first post. Anyways,
I use Netzero as my ISP and I was wondering if any of you know where I could download a free program to keep it from disconnecting after not being active for a certain ammount of time. This feature is very annoying because it will disconnect while I am downloading a file or playing games online. Thanks for the help.

If you are actively downloading something then it should not be disconnecting.

Anyway, there are numerous things you can do to keep your connection alive.

You could do a search on google for "Keep alive" or similar words, and find numerous programs designed to do what you want.

Back when I had Netzero dialup, I had the exact same problem - long downloads would inevitibly be disconnected, but you could surf to your heart's content without a problem.

My Norton Systemworks came with a little utility called "Connection Keep Alive" or something-rather. I used to run it when I had a long download, and it worked like a charm.

It may not be netzero disconnecting. It may be your browser or dialer.
