Wireless Router
If I have a wireless router and set it up without password access, can anyone within range with wireless capability access my router? If so, can they also access my computer? Would I know if anyone is accessing my router or computer?

In a word yes.
Most people set up their wireless routers without thinking at all about security. Unless you have secured your router your Internet connection and your computer are open to anyone with a wireless card.
One of my coworkers installed a wireless card in one of his computer and he had a choice of his router or one of five others belong to neighbors. Talk about ignorance.
Follow the directions that came with the router or that are available all over the Internet and make your setup safe, For the best safety, don't use wireless at all.

You'd only know if they were connected while you were looking. Just look for an extra light on your router (one more than the number of computers you have connecting.)
They can access your computer if you have file and printer sharing activated. And if they are good, they might be able to even if you don't.

This is a non expert reply, but can one go into their history and view web sights that have been visited and would it show on your own history if others had access via wireless connection? I Was just wondering?
