router

Hello
I've decided to use sygate firewall in lieu of xp's. I know hardware ones are even better. Is a router, along with a software firewall, as good a way of "firewalling" your machine, or is a hardware firewall the way to go?
Pete?

A router is better than no hardware firewall. A router with a built in firewall is better than a router without a firewall.

Keep some sort of software firewall regardless of what you do in hardware.

firewall

The router with a firewall is what I've determined to buy by asking around. Your input is appreciated-thank you
