Drive Image (Backup Program)

I have been using Drive Image vs. 7 to make an image of my entire drive C at night so I always have a complete backup. (I think Drive Image was purchased by Symantec so I am guesing that Norton Ghost is the same as the old drive Image.) This has been working great to restore any individual file.

My Question: My Drive "C" is a very large drive and my second and third drives are smaller. My secone drive is empty at this time. I wanted to make an image of the "C" drive to the third drive and then restore it to the second drive but it says I can't do this as the second drive is smaller the the "C" Drive. The data however is much smaller then the size of this second drive.(Hope this makes sense) My goal was to change the present "C" Drive to the second drive to hold more data.
Does anyone know if I may be doing something wrong or would this work if I purchased the new version of Ghost?

Thanks,

Harlan.

Hey Harlan,

You should be fine. Use Norton Ghost if the current software doesn't cut it.
I've done exactly what your trying to do with ghose, np.
