MPEGs to play on DVD

MPEGs to play on DVD

Is there any software or anyway to play mpegs on a DVD player or I am just doing something wrong. I have a camera that takes videos and we want to watch on DVD. Help please

there is lots of software out there that will convert from mpeg to the dvd format. Alot of the newer dvd players(home) will play mpeg's just as they are.

The discs usually need to be "finalized" before they can be played on a DVD player. Consult your manual on how to do this, then try it on a disc and see if it plays.

You can, of course, do this with a program such as Nero Burning ROM. It's a bit expensive, but it's a good value, as you get a lot of tools with it.

You can also try a freeware solution. There are many of them out there. Try They have tons of freeware utilities, as well as instructional guides.

You either have to make a DVD-Video or VCD/SVCD, or see what the DVD player wants, and if it can play files from an DVD/CD-ROM disc.My one player plays MPEG 1 files only, the other MPEG 1&2 files.
