winzip files as folders

When I open Windows explorer the zip files are showing up as folders within the the folders window which I keep open on the left. I think there must be a way to only show windows folders and not the zip files but I can't figure it out.
windows XP operating system.

Joed,

I don't have an XP box here to try this on, but I think you might find the option you are seeking as follows:

In windows explorer, go to Tools-->Folder Options, and go to the View tab. See if there is a display contents of ZIP files, or something like that there.

Man, I miss having my work supplied laptop. (That was my XP box)

Can't find any option like that. Here's a strange one I have found.
I have two icons on the quick launch to open WE. One opens the C: drive the other opens the D:. The C: icon does not show the zip as folders even when I go to the D: drive and display the same file info. The D: icon displays the zip files as folders.

This is silly. I just tried it again. Now both icons open with the zip as folders.
