Angry home wireless access to desktop printer

Using a Linksys WRT54GS connecting the DSL modem to my desktop through the ethernet port. Have an HP printer on one of the USB ports of the desktop. Wish to access my printer remotely through the wireless. Now the problem, the laptop is a company computer that uses a VPN and domain name to access the company intranet and I'd like to access this printer while working through the VPN. It doesn't appear I can have a domain name assignment and a workgroup assignment at the same time. Can anybody suggest an alternate way of accessing my home computer/printer wirelessly without having a workgroup name match?
