Web Page

I would like to design a webpage.
Does anyone know a good place to learn html.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't really learn HTML anymore.
What you would use is a WSIWYG web page editor.

I'd say get a book, or take an online course.

just do a google search for learning html or xhtml or html lessons or tutorials...
you will get plenty of sites that have tutorials, like this one:

I like to have people download a webpage they like, and start messing with the code once they have some understanding(couple hours) and see what happens. seems to really help.
I always prefere to code from scratch.

I agree with tae, I prefer to do HTML coding directly, that way you get exactly what you want. I have never cared for any of the HTML editors, although I have a few on my pc, i.e. Frontpage Express and CoffeeeCup Express 5.0. The book I like is Sams Teach yoursekf 'Web Pulishing with HTML 4' in 21 Days. I am sure there is a later one out by now, haven't checked. Good luck and have fun leaning.
