What is the max attachment size hotmail allows? What is the file size of the video?

You will get the best compression with WMV or MP3 formats, see if you can get a program to convert. Those are such good compression that if you ZIP the file it won't get any smaller.

Try Microsoft "Windows Messenger"

Ch 21 of Windows XP Inside Out describes how to use Windows Messenger to transfer files directly from one computer to another over the Internet without the size limitations of email attachments. There are certain setup requirements and security concerns to address to be completely comfortable using the technique.

I found the copy of the book I'm using at my local library. There must be many more like it you can find to learn how to use Windows Messenger. (I have resorted to heavy browsing technical books at the bookstore to get the part I needed from a 10 pound volume. "Are these four pages really worth $60?" I do think sometimes that Microsoft pays its writers to cover the material by the pound!)
