The floppy will be around until all of the Sony digital cameras bite the dust. There are hundreds of thousands of the cameras, still being used, that write the pictures to floppy in the camera. I have one. When I bought it, memory was still too expensive, so floppy storage was the answer. Maybe it will finally give up, and I can get the Canon Digital Rebel, and get rid of the floppy drives in the desktop and laptop.

floppy biting the dust

I saw a inexpensive brand new computer the other day there
was no floppy on it !Yes i like fooling around with the floppy myself
