auto shutdown feature?

Is there a auto shutdown feature setting in computer software? Mine shuts down every day about the same time.
Thanks

Yes, there is. Most of the time, laptops have this feature to conserve power usage. You can turn it off, if you like. In Windows, look in the control panel, under power usage or settings.

I forgot to mentioned that i have a desktop. I did check the pwr.setting feature and the pwr.shutdown icon was set to NEVER. So i guess i may have something else going on.
Thanks for your help.

If you leave it on all the time and it shuts off at the same time everyday, look to see that the fan in the power supply is clean. The power supply may heat too much and shut down.
