Given those 2 choices, I would go with the FX5200 as it is the newer series of the 2. But both are very low end cards.

What is this computer mainly used for?

If you have only a PCI slot for video then I'd go with a FX5500, not a 5200.

I would suggest the same. I never would recommend getting a low end video card if you are doing any gaming other than hearts, spades, and solitaire!

Before making a solid recomendation, it would be helpful to know the specs of the pc you will be installing the card in. If you have a PIII with 256mb ram a really fast graphics card won't help very much. Also, does your system have an AGP or PCI express slot or only PCI? You said you don't play "high end" games, but what specific games do you play? Why are you looking for a new graphics card? Are you not able to play certain games or are you getting low frame rates in some games?
