Looking for scanning solution

We frequently have to scan multiple small pages, and would like to end up with three such small pages on one letter sized page of a PDF file. Right now, we are manually placing three pages face down on a flatbed scanner and scanning them like that. This is an extremely slow, tedious process since we are doing 100+ every day.

Our scanner has a sheet feeder. What we would like to do is just place the stack of small pages in it and let it scan them through, with the software then combining three scans into one letter sized page.

It seems like a simple enough thing to do, but does anyone know of any software that will enable us to do this automatically?

PaintShop Pro will let you print multiple images on one sheet.. You get your images in their windows and click on File-Print multiple images.. In the print window you choose your images, align them, and print.. I use it to print 20 images per sheet to make magnetic cards for our kite club..
