Webcam Website Question

Hey! How's it going DIY? I have a question with regard to setting up a webcam website. From what I've read, FTP is the communications protocol used in sending images from the camera device to the publishing http server. My issue here is the password protection which is missing from FTP. If you have any experience or knowledge about this, please, would you pass it along to me. Thank you so much!

What do you mean by password protection missing, and what's the problem? No password usually means it allows anonymous logins, and will take anything for a password. This isn't something you should be allowing to your website. Disable anonymous logins, and then set up an account for the webcam to use to login it. giving it access only to the directory that will hold the image.

What I meant was that FTP doesn't encrypt the password.
