Temp. CD Burning folder
My temp. CD burning folder seems to have vanished.
I'll start at the begining. When I go to back up quicken a window pops up that says "Quicken has copied your data file to XP's temporary CD burning folder" the problem is I cannot see the folder. It used to show up & I could click on it & it would burn the files to a CD. It will not even show up now. I clicked-start-search typed temporary cd burning folder & it showed no results found.
I am running XP home Any ideas?

When I right click on a file and select send to CD burner, a balloon pops up with the message that I have files ready to be written to a CD, and to click here (on the Balloon) to see the files. Then, the window opens with the files listed.
After this, right clicking on the CD burner drive listed in My Computer will show the options to burn the files or to delete them.
Hope this helps.

Hi:
I, too have XP Home Edition and happy to use 'CD burner' for a smallest files/folders.
In the past, I had a similar problem like your description. Later, I found if I constantly or regularly using 'Roxio' only, then CD burner with XP vanished. On this, I periodically use the CD burner with XP for a small files/folders and Roxio for larger ones.
As for 'balloon,' there is balloon popping-up at the bottom of left corner that initiates me to write/burn files/folders as one of members posted.
Now, I can use both 'Roxio' and 'CD burner with XP' with ease.

Do you have Drag to disk installed. Try that you copy and past the data you want copyed to the icon and then the balloon pops up say you have files waiting to be copyed.Try that.
