It'll work just like a floppy disk for ya, add and delete as many times as you wish, will not wear not, it's all hardware based. Been using my 1Gig Pen drive for over a year now, only problem is that I need more space...

Hard to say. We looked at that prior to going Digital for on site photos. Kingston guarantees their memory sticks for 5 years ( I think )
Our best guess was either being crushed in a pocket with keys etc will kill it or the USB connector will be damaged one day... we're hoping to get 2 years out of each one.

Flash drives have no moving parts, not like a hard disk drive, and are much more reliable and shock resistant because of it. There is no limit to how many times you can add/delete data, but like everything, it will break in time.

I believe its somewhere in the high hundred thousand times maybe millions of times. You would have to find the datasheet of the memory chips the manufacturer of the device used. Thats where you will find your answer.
