Digital Video Camera Problems

Just got a JVC Digital Video Camera. The camera is working fine but I would like to be able to copy to a DVD. I have a Dvd burner but not sure what program I might need to do this. My computer is a Dell Dimension 2400 running windows xp. It is a pentium 4 2.66 Ghz 640 mb of ram. I forgot to say that the camera is a jvc GR-D370U connect to the computer by usb cable

Thanks

Sorry no one had an answer in the photo forum.

I'll copy your question to the computer forum.

There are many programs that you could use. However, with only 640 MBytes of ram and a slow PC, you may be out of luck.

Ulead makes a good program, as does Sonic.

Windows XP comes with Windows Movie Maker, which is very basic but should do what you want for free. As stated above, it will be very slow.

there are actually many variables, and there are some good web sites that specialize in this type of thing. easiest way is to copy from the camera to the hard drive, and then burn it to disk. the format that the camera puts the video to the hard drive is important also.
this is a great site for video stuff:
