Hotmail
I signed to hotmail back in '99. I used it untill 2001, and then just started using other email clients. I have been trying to get in for some old addresses, but my name, and password no longer work. I haven't changed them, it looks as though they (hotmail)just deleted my acc??? Does anyone know how to get back in..

Yes I believe you need to go in every month at
least once or if you haven't been in for less then three month you will need to activate again but after that the account probably has been terminated

Yes, hotmail accounts are deleted after some period of time when there is no activity by the user.
For a short period of time they mark the account as inactive, and will allow you and only you to get it back. After that it gets deleted and anybody can get the username.
If they didn't do this they would have thousands of inactive accounts and gigabytes of storage tied up for nothing.
In your case, after that many years, you will find that everything is lost.
