retieve password on word doc
I have a microsoft word document that has been password protected then the password lost. Is it possible to get the doc open or retrieve the password?

Short answer, No. Only way to possibly recover the password is to purchase spefcific security software.

Word Password
I do IT support and we have people quit who have put passwords on word documents on their way out that are very important.
Do a google search and you will find a method to retrieve that file.
