silly question

have double monitor, two graphics cards, one onboard nvida other pci nvida5500 no heat sink just fan. but anyways gettin a line on the pci Lcd monitor not noticable or bothersum but am worried about it going worse. Should I check my card first or my monitor.

Plug the monitor into the other graphics card and see if the line is still there.

switching monitors

i knew that was going to be the first response. But no I havnt done it yet lazyniess i guess. But the line only shows up on qualitly dvd movies.

OK I swithced monitores and still getting the line from the pci card. so it is obvisly bad. less than a year old do have a spare fx6200 but I know my OS is going to give me problem installing it. Any easy advice?

Uninstall the PCI card, install the drivers for the one going in, shut down.. Replace the card, and start the machine..

Quality DVD movies = 3.4 gig torrents as opposed to 745 meg torrents..
