I have not had any problems with 2.0. I really can't tell much of a difference between the two.

Here's a Review

Here's a review comparing it to IE 7 but they got into some of the differences between 2.0 and 1.5

firefox

Hello
I used to have Netscape years ago and there were sites like banks that would not allow it. Do you have any access problems with firefox? Also, how do you get support like patches for firefox? I only know how to get auto updates from windows for msie 6. Thank you.

I choose to not do banking on line, but I do pay a couple of bills on line with no access problems. There are some sites that do not want FF, in that case I go to IE. To update FF, click the help tab, then check for updates

I love it! Been using FF as my main browser since just before the 1.0 days ... FF2 ads some definite niceties to it and it seems to be a bit more responsive on my machine as well ... and i absolutely LOVE having spellcheck in textarea boxes like the one i'm typing in right now!

If the site worked with Netscape, it most likely will work just fine with Firefox, since they're both based on the same Gecko rendering engine ... HOWEVER, if someone's done a bad thing and added browser checking into their website, then it may tell you it won't work and not let you use the site ... any good development firm would never do such a thing and would make a site that's compatible with all major browsers (i'm a php/mysql coder and the company i work for strives for total cross-platform compatibility!)

That said, I've used FF on many sites and for many years and really haven't come across one that absolutely will not work with FF
