You did not ask a valid question. There are many anti-virus programs out there. There is no best program. There are many good programs and the best for me may not be the best for you.

Are you willing to pay for a program? Are you computer literate? Do you use your computer on the Internet? Do you have a home network. or is it just one computer?

The more information you provide, the better the answers you will get.

Your question was valid, and understood..
The best anti-virus to purchase is a free one.. No need to keep MaCafee and Symantic rich.. Go to www.free.grisoft.com and get ver 7.5 of their free anti-virus software..

yahoo also has a good one, it has antispy, parental controls, mail protection and popup blocker

i think its called yahoo online protection. already it found a trojan horse and some keyloggers since i put it on my computer back in august or september.

yahoo's is free, not a resource hog (its main process name is isafe.exe) you can set it to automatically update,
