Apple or another PC?

I am in the market for a new PC &, since almost all of my computer needs involve simply using the internet, I was wondering if I would gain anything by going Mac this time? (I do use MS Word & Excell as well)

Apples and PCs work a little differently. I had a chance to use an Apple over the weekend and I didn't care for it. Anywhere you can use an Apple for a while before you make your choice?

Apples are one of the most stable operating systems/computers ever. Apples now are capable of running most PC programs so you can use Word on Apples. I have not switched to an Apple yet, but, have tried a few of them and I like them alot. They are a bit more expensive, so, you are probably better off getting a PC for the internet, etc.
