Bookmarks won't save anymore

Recently put a brand new computer into service, reloading all programs from either disc or download. Now, the instant I close my NS 7 Browser, Bookmarks I've added during the session are wiped clean. Simply put, Netscape "Bookmarks" isn't working anymore! There has to be a simple explanation/fix for
this terrible loss of browser functionality. Brand new machine and fresh install of Netscape 7.0 from disc! Please, someone, help me figure this out so I can restore the "Bookmarks" feature of my browser before I go nuts! Any suggestions?

Ditch the Netscape and use Microsoft Explorer, or FireFox.

Wrong answer!

I have always preferred Netscape. I like the way it works and it's features, (especially the mail client) much better than the two you mentioned. I need to know why Bookmarks isn't working. It must have something to do with my install of the program.

create a new profile. Save some bookmarks there. See if that works.
