Display orientation has changed

I'm troubleshooting a computer problem for a relative: their desktop computer running Win XP has suddenly rotated the screen display. On boot the Dell and Windows logos are displayed properly, but after boot the display is rotated 90 degrees left.

We've clicked through Display properties but found nothing about screen orientation. Is this a Windows setting that we haven't found, or perhaps a driver problem?

Thanks!

Hello,

I have a laptop with an Nvidia video card. I can go into the Nvidia control panel and select an option to rotate the display. Maybe your relative's computer has a simular option.

Very possible.. I've seen secretaries with their monitors on its side, so it shows an entire word document..
