Lcd Moniter Compack

I Have A 15" Compack Lcd Moniter Which Is Working But Has Purple Color I Have Tried The Color Control But It Has No Effect I Think The Green Color Is Not Working Properly

If it behaves this way on every computer then it's time for a new monitor.

You COULD get lucky (I rarely do) and find that one pin of your video cable isn't making connection on one end or the other. That'll cause this sort of monochrome weirdness since one of the three color signals will be missing, and it takes all three to make "white" (or what your eye sees as white, anyway.)

There are three elements to this: video card, cable and monitor.

WIGGLE the heck out of both ends of the cable for each step:

Try wiggling both ends of the cable where they attach to the computer and monitor. For that matter, make sure they're fully plugged in!

Try swapping the cable with another one. If no help, then you know it's your monitor or video card.

Move the monitor AND cable to another computer. If that works, you may have a video card problem.

Move the monitor to another computer with another cable. If that doesn't help, it's your monitor.
