testing memory for a desktop pc
I have 2 sticks of 256MB DDR400 of memory for a desktop personal computer. I currently do not own a computer in working condition that uses DDR memory. I was curious to know if there is anyway of testing this memory without it being in a computer ? Thanks in advance for any help or comments with this problem.

There are stand alone units that will test for basic function, but they cost more then a standard computer. The only real way to test for stability is to have it installed in the box you intend to use it in and running a diagnostic like memtest.
