Question Photo Printer, Scanner & Copier recommendations

Hi everyone!!

My college bound child is looking for an all in one like above. She has eyed the Epson CX6000 as fitting her budget. Can you provide pros and cons for this printer and or recommend others that you feel would be better suited with similar functions. She is an avid photographer and likes turning her shots into framed works for gifts and such. She will also need to use this printer for school work. An all-in-one is a must for space savings in the dorm room.

Thanks and we look forward to your helpful advice.

This is probably like comparing Chevy's and Fords but I have recently purchased a few Brother all in ones and we have been very happy with them and the cost was great. They have seperate cartridges for each color which makes it nice.

Not necessarily all-in-one printers, but you can get an idea of the brand quality..

You might want to consider the cost of ink cartridges for different printers..

I bought my daughter a HP 5180 all in one printer. Reasonable price $130
with rebates. I have had HP printers for years as they were rated a "best buy"in Consumers report.
if nothing else,my daughter loves her printer,so i'm happy.
