windows advisor

I ran the advisor scan and it reported that I could install Vista but there were too many downsides like the loss of my scanner and more. I've decided to wait until I get a new pc b/c the benefits of Vista are not worth it at this time.
My question is this; I was told in order to remove programs from add/remove I should do so in the reverse order in which they were installed -the last first. The advisor is next to last in the population list -the last being service pack 2 which I don't want to remove. Is there a way I can safely remove the windows Vista advisor? Thank you.

The "Add or Remove Programs" window does not list programs in the order they were installed.

The choices are to sort by Name, Size, Frequency of use, and Date Last Used.

I suspect you are looking in name order.

Just un-install what you want to get rid of.. The order doesn't matter as there will probably be things left over anyway..

usually the advice about removing things in reverse order goes for things like service pack updates.
