Printer through wireless Linksys router
Hello,
I am trying to print from my HP laptop to a Brother MFC printer system via a Linksys wireless router. Any tips?
Thanks,
Joey

Is this a network printer or is it attached to a computer? If attached, sharing the printer on the network will usually enable finding it with the add printer wizard searching for networked printers. The driver will usually be installed in this process.
Hope this helps.

I use a Lexmark Z65n, which is a true wireless printer, attached directly to the router, and it works from any of the computers in the house. Not sure how yours would work, except via networking.

If the printer is attached to another computer, you need to keep that machine turned on to use it..
On the laptop, go to Start - Settings - Printers and faxes
Add printer - Next - Network printer, and continue from there..
