Angry Processes

I'm having a heck of a time with my CPU processes running between 95 & 100% most of the time. I've talked to a few people around here, and they say I should delete the ones I don't use. I just don't know which ones I can keep or delete. It seems to be slowing me down quite a bit.

Any ideas????

95% is alot!

Are you running ZoneAlarm? This program has caused this issue alot.

Scan for viruses and malware.

Google "xp processes" and go to the "Answers that work" site for descriptions and options.

Talking CPU usage

Download and run Process Explorer, from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/ProcessExplorer.mspx it will allow you to see what is taking up all the CPU usage. http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/ProcessExplorer.zip
