Converting music to mp3 file????

Converting music to mp3 file????

How can I take music from a cd and convert it to an mp3 file. I know how to rip a cd to windows media player and I know how to make other cd's but the coverting songs to mp3 I would like to know. Thanks

Media player will rip to mp3 format.

On the rip tab, there is an entry for 'format', on that list should be mp3.
On the rip tab of the main settings page, you can pick the naming format, quality, etc.

I assume you have an MP3 player - it probably came with software that will do it - very common capability in most audio software.

I use AudioGrabber. You can set the bitrate, get the song titles from the Internet, etc. It's freeware, which is even better. I guess they all do pretty much the same thing.
