Smile Battery replacement in Backups

I bought a new battery for my APC Backups 280B. But being mechanically challenged, I'm having a hard time getting the negative wire off the old battery. Does anyone know where I can see a diagram of what I'm supposed to manipulate, squeeze, pinch or whatever to get this thing loose? Or can anyone be descriptive enough to tell me? Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. Here in Florida with all the lightening a backups is a necessity!
Thanks!

If it's just a prong type connection, you should jsut be able to pull it off, but if it's that difficult, you could just snip the wire at the connector end and crimp on a new connector. They sell them cheap at most auto stores.

Use a little elbow grease. It will eventually come off.
