MS Outlook

After encountering chronic problems with Outlook Express mailing attchments, I switched to Outlook.
Now, suddenly I have mail languishing in the Outbox. I can set up outgoing mail, and it will send some right out. Others may be hours before going out, and some I cannot get sent at all. And there seems to be no pattern in this.
When I use "send/receive all," or "send all," nothing happens. Yet when I check to see if POp3 server is OK, it send an all OK messge to my inbox.
When I try to get it to send the message immediately, I often get a message requiring my PW.
Any ideas as to what is the glitch? I still have a message in my outbox that I sent "out" at 1PM today.

Check the settings to make sure that your account is in the "send/receive all" group. it should be, but it may not be, especially if you had trouble setting it up.

Make sure that you have the box checked so that your password is remembered by Outlook.
