size of what is viewed

It seems that everything on my computer has grown by what appears to be 50%, including what I am typing and sending here. What do I have to do to get the size back to what it use to be, and what caused this to happen in the first place. thank you

On the IE toolbar, there should be a button that says "Page", click on that, and on the drop down menu there is a "text size" option which changes the size of the typeface, and above that, there is a "zoom" option that should be at 100%. See if changing either of them puts your screen back to normal.
Things sometimes seem to change on it's own on my computer, too. Why, I don't know.

The resolution may have been changed. Right-click on the desktop, choose Properties, click on the Settings tab. Look at the setting for screen resolution. You may have been using 1024x768. In any event, you can change the slider value and check to see if it is what you want. If the value you want is not available, consider installing the video card drivers again.

Hope this helps.

Right click on a blank area of the desktop. That means an area where no programs are open. Then select properties. If you don't get a right click menu then either you aren't right clicking or there is a problem with you mouse or you aren't clicking on a blank area of the desktop.

Close or minimize your browser window first, then right-click on the desktop.

I was able to get to the settings and did fool with the resolution size but that was not the problem, no matter what I did it never seemed to be normal, but in fooling around in this manner trying to get resolution size as it was I now have print that is ghostly in appearance, not solid any where and not dull everywhere
