performance center

I have this listed in programs (Performance Center), in trying to delete it from my list of programs, it pops up with german words that I cannot understand so I go through and press every button hoping to get lucky and find the proper sequence to get rid of the program but to no avail, has anyone else come across a situation such as this, I do not know how this got listed on my program list, but I can not get it to go away

Again, you ought to practice safer surfing.

Do you have a youngster that uses the computer? Many times that will be the source of those mystery programs that you see.

You can try removing the program manually via the filesystem. If that is unsuccessful, there is a program out there called "Killbox". Be very careful using it, though, as it will allow you to remove things that shouldn't be removed

Of course, running a spyware cleaner and using an anti-virus program might help.
