making an excel spreadsheet update a word document

i have a price sheet in excel for my havc business that allows me to change my hourly rate as well as other variables, resulting in a word doc that i can give to service techs for billing our customers.

the word doc i have is embedded i believe is the term, and i need to create a new one. anyone have an idea how to perform this?

I'm not sure of what you are asking. If you want to embed an Excel spreadsheet in a Word document, choose the command "Object" from the "Insert" menu items. From that list choose Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. You will now have essentially two applications working together.
