media player not playing
windows media player has malfuntioned on my computer for some reason. It will not allow movies to show or clips. It tells me to log off of windows and then open media player, when I log off and then log back on and then try to open the media player it tells me the same thing, log off then open media player.
When I try to circumvent the problem by downloading a media player from a diferent place it will not allow me to down load.
Can any one help with this problem?

Hi,
I would download and install K-Lite Codec Pack. It is free and includes media player classic. It will play almost anything, with not near the resources that Windows Media player consumes.
